Some thoughts about turning fifty

Tomorrow I will have been here fifty years.

Today I thought that I might write a bit.

I have a headful of memories, a pile of regrets, and a heartfelt hope.

My parents are no longer around to send me a card. No more phone calls with birthday wishes.

My Grand is gone and I miss her exceedingly.

My sister and I remain estranged.

My husband and I are still struggling to find the balance.

My sons are healthy and I believe that they love and trust in Jesus as much as I do ...
